Totapuri

Greenish and mild-tasting, the parrot's beak mango, from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, isn't as sweet as others. Due to its unique flavour, it is ideal for salads and pickles.

Hapus

Hapus mango, native to Maharashtra, now thrives in Gujarat and parts of Karnataka. Renowned for its high price, it's a top export worldwide.

Sindhura

This mango is sweet with a slight tangy aroma that lingers. Due to its vibrant yellow pulp, it offers a delightful flavour experience. It is great for shakes.

Banginapalli

Banganapalli mangoes, larger than Alphonso, hail from Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool district. Oval-shaped with smooth skin, about 14 cm long, they boast a delightful aroma.

Ratnagiri

The renowned 'Ratnagiri Aam' thrives in Maharashtra's Ratnagiri, Devgarh, Raigad, and Konkan regions. Each mango weighs 150 to 300 grams. Alphonso Mango, India's finest and priciest variety, is highly sought-after.

Chausa

Introduced by Sher Shah Suri in the sixteenth century, this variety, named after a Bihar town, is popular in North India. Known for its sweet pulp and bright yellow skin, it's a favourite in Bihar.
