India's 5 Largest Chrysanthemum Producing States

Over 15,000 farmers in Maharashtra cultivate chrysanthemums. They account for about 25% of Indian production. The state's favourable climate and extensive cultivation enable this.

Karnataka, India's second-largest chrysanthemum producer, contributes 20% to the total. Fertile soil and a favourable climate support large-scale cultivation.

Tamil Nadu stands third in India's chrysanthemum production, contributing around 15% of the total output. Its sturdy agricultural infrastructure and favourable climate support this cultivation.

Andhra Pradesh, with around 8% contribution, holds a notable position in chrysanthemum production. Its warm climate and evolving farming practices favor ideal cultivation conditions.

Chrysanthemum production in Himachal Pradesh thrives in its cool climate at high altitudes. This environment leads to vibrant and durable blooms, yielding high-quality flowers.
