These are rich in beta-carotene, which is converted into Vitamin A when you eat carrots. Yellow carrots have lutein. This chemical also increases eyesight.
The ideal temperature range for carrots is 7-23 degrees Celsius with a rainfall of 75-100 cm. The sowing temperature and harvesting temperatures are 18-23 degrees and 20-25 degrees Celsius, respectively.
A deep, loose, loamy soil is most suitable for carrot growth with a pH of 5.5 to 7 (where 6.5 is ideal).
Irrigation depends on the seasons. In summer, you need to irrigate regularly with an interval of 6-7 days. In contrast, winter increases the time limit to 10-12 days periodically.

After sowing, carrots can be harvested in and around 90-100 days. Carrot gives around 20-30 tonnes per hectare in yield.
