Bael is well-known for its nutritional and therapeutic properties. It has been known since prehistoric times. Bael is a religiously significant domestic fruit tree in India.
This plant thrives with fertile sandy loam soil, sunny conditions, and a humid, warm environment. It demands a pH range of 5 to 8. Use warm soil (75-90F).

It was necessary to have well-cleared sandy or loamy soil for the Bael crop. To fine-tilth the soil, 90cm x 90cm x 90cm pits with a mix of soil from the garden and 25 kg FYM are dug.
Young plants require regular watering in the summer and once a month in the winter to ensure quick root development and establishment. Irrigation can be used during the sprouting of new leaves.
Weeding is not necessary with this crop. The first weeding is done at the time of seedling development, and the second weeding is undertaken when the plant is two years old.
