Soybean is known as the "Golden Bean" in India. Rajasthan is the third largest Soyabean-producing state, with Baran and Kota as the main producing districts.

Karnataka produced 378,560 tonnes of Soyabean last year. Belagav is a district with a high production rate for Soybeans, boasting 100,000 hectares of Soybean.

Telangana produces 3,10,980 tonnes annually. Kamareddy led with 84,975 acres, followed by Adilabad (78,319), Nirmal (77,117), Nizamabad (74,805), and Sangareddy (72,505) in acreage.
