VST Tractor Sales Report September 2024: Sold 473 Tractors & 2110 Power Tillers

VST recently published its September 2024 sales data, which showed inconsistent results in both its tractor and power tiller segments. In comparison to September 2023, the company sold 2,583 units overall in September 2024, a decrease of 1.67%.

In September 2024, VST sold 2,110 power tillers, a little increase of 0.86% over the 2,092 units sold during the same time the previous year. Tractor sales for the company, however, reflect a notable change. In September 2024, VST sold just 473 units, a notable 11.59% decrease from the 535 units sold in the same month in 2023. In September 2024, total sales of tractors and power tillers totalled 2,583 units, indicating a marginal decline of 1.67% from the 2,627 units sold in the same month the previous year.

The Year to Date (YTD) statistics show that VST's performance has been more difficult. Sales of VST power tillers have dropped; in 2024, the business sold 17,325 units, down 12.74% from 19,854 units sold in the same time in 2023. Tractor sales also saw a downturn; at the end of 2024, VST Tractor had sold 2,599 units, down 11.11% from 2,924 at this point in 2023.

The company's overall power tiller and tractor sales for the year 2024 came to 19,924 units, down 12.53% from the 22,778 units sold in 2023.

In conclusion, even if VST was able to sustain a certain level of increase in power tiller sales in September, there is still cause for concern over the overall sales performance of tractors and power tillers, especially when looking at the year-to-date data. Significant decreases in each of the company's sectors suggest that, in order to restore momentum, market problems must be addressed.
