Retail Tractors Sales Report June 2024 - Tractor Sales Drop By 28.36%, 71,029 Units Sold

FADA released Retail Tractor Sales Data on 5 July 2024. The data indicates that 71,029 tractors sold in June 2024, a decrease from the 99,148 units sold in June 2023. Consequently, tractor sales in India declined by 28.36% in June 2024.

Brand Wise FADA Tractor Sales Report 2024

In June 2024, Mahindra recorded sales of 16,333 tractors, lower than the 21,646 tractors sold in June of the previous year. Sales decreased by a major margin of 24.54%. Despite this, the company's market share increased by 1.16% in June 2024.

In June 2024, there was a drop of 16.97% in the sales of Swaraj Tractor, a sector of Mahindra & Mahindra, from June 2023. The brand experienced a decrease in sales, with 13,283 units sold compared to 15,997 units sold in June 2023. Furthermore, there was a 2.57% increase in Swaraj Tractor's market share.

Sonalika Tractors, also known as International Tractors Limited, also experienced a significant decrease. In June 2024, the company sold 9,244 tractors in India, 27.55% less than the 12,759 units sold in the similar month previous year. However, its market share increased by 0.14%.

TAFE Limited improved its market share by 0.87%. The company sold 22.81% fewer tractors at retail in June 2024, with 8,646 units sold compared to 11,201 units in June 2023.

In June 2024, Escorts Tractor sold 7,536 units as compared to 10,215 units sold in June 2023. This indicates a 26.23% decline in sales in June 2024. Also, the company’s market share increased by 0.31% in June 2024. 

John Deere Tractor sold 5,520 units in June 2024, a considerable decrease from the 8,291 units sold in June 2023. This indicates a 33.42% drop in tractor sales from the previous year. Furthermore, the company experienced a 0.59% decline in market share in June 2024.

In June 2024, Eicher Tractors sold 4,625 units, which is comparatively lower than the 4,983 units sold in June 2023. Eicher Tractors experienced a 7.18% drop in sales and an increase of 1.48% in market share. 

CNH INDUSTRIAL (INDIA) PVT LTD noted 2,863 unit sales in June 2024 and 5,572 units in June 2023. This data shows a huge drop of 48.62% in June 2024. Additionally, the company's market share also reduced by 1.59% in the same month. 

Kubota Tractor sold fewer tractors in June 2024 than in June of the previous year. The company recorded sales of 1,218 units, which is a reduction from the 1,733 units sold in June 2023. Sales decreased by 29.72%, and their market share dropped by approximately 0.04% compared to last year.

In June 2024, besides these brands, other brands experienced a 73.91% decrease in sales. The number of tractor sales in June 2024 was 1,761 units, compared to 6,751 units in June 2023. Consequently, the market share also decreased by 4.33% in the same month.
