Retail Tractors Sales Report April 2024 - Tractor Sales Hike By 1.37%, 56,625 Units Sold

On 8 May 2024, FADA released Retail Tractor Sales Data. The data shows the total tractor sales, which were 56,625 units in April 2024 compared to 55,857 units sold in April 2023. As a result, tractor sales in India showed a hike of 1.37% in April 2024. 

Brand Wise FADA Tractor Sales Report 2024

In April 2024, Mahindra sold 12,651 tractors, which is higher than the 12,633 tractors sold in the same month last year. This shows a growth of 0.14% in sales. However, despite the increase in sales, the company's market share declined by 0.28% in April 2024.

In April 2024, Swaraj Tractor, a division of Mahindra & Mahindra, saw a 15.38% increase in tractor sales compared to April 2023. They sold 11,028 units in April 2024, up from 9,558 units in April 2023. Additionally, Swaraj Tractor's market share increased by 2.37%.

In 2024, INTERNATIONAL TRACTORS LIMITED sold 7,420 tractors in India, 6.56% more than the 6,963 units sold in April 2023. The company also increased its market share by 0.63%.

In April 2024, Escorts Tractor sold 5,866 units, which is more than the 6,247 units sold in April 2023. This means there was a 6.10% decrease in sales for April 2024. Along with this, the company's market share decreased by 0.82%.

TAFE Limited declined its market share by 2.15%. The company sold 16.70% less tractors at retail. In April 2024, they sold 5,622 units, compared to 6,749 units in April 2023.

In April 2024, John Deere Tractor company sold 4,772 units, which is slightly less than the 4,554 units sold in April 2023. This means there was a 4.79% increase in tractor sales compared to last year. Additionally, the company's market share hiked by 0.28% in April 2024.

In April 2024, Eicher Tractor sold 3,881 units, which is 20.64% more than the 3,217 units sold in April 2023. Furthermore, the company increased its market share by 1.09%.

New Holland Tractor noted 2,414 unit sales in April 2024 and 2,266 units in April 2023. This data shows a hike of 6.53% in April 2024. Additionally, the company also gained market share by 0.20% in the same month. 

Kubota Tractor sold fewer tractors in April 2024 than in April last year. They sold 1,077 units this April, less than the 1,318 units sold in April last year. This decrease in sales by 18.29% and their market share grew slightly less compared to last year, by about 0.46%.

In April 2024, VST Tillers & Tractor sold 163 units, which is 47.25% less than the 309 units they sold in April 2023. In addition, their retail market share dropped by 0.26%.

In April 2024, Force Tractor sold twice as many tractors as it did in April of the previous year. It sold 151 tractors this April, compared to 262 tractors last April. Moreover, the company's market share decreased by 0.20% in April 2024.

In April 2024, besides these brands, other brands experienced a 11.29% decrease in sales. The number of tractor sales in April 2024 was 1,580 units, compared to 1,781 units in April 2023. Consequently, the market share also decreased by 0.40% in the same month.
