Mahindra Tractor Sales Report July 2024: 25,587 units sold, marking a 6% growth.

Mahindra & Mahindra has recently released its Tractor Sales Report for July 2024. The report highlights a notable increase in domestic sales, with the company selling 25,587 tractors in July 2024, up from 24,168 units in July 2023. This represents a growth of 6% in domestic sales. 

In the export market, Mahindra saw an impressive 61% increase in sales, achieving 1,622 units in July 2024 compared to 1,007 units in July 2023. This significant boost underscores the company's strong performance in international markets. 

Overall, Mahindra’s total tractor sales for July 2024 reached 27,209 units, which is an increase from 25,175 units sold in July 2023. This translates to an 8% rise in total sales, reflecting the company’s robust growth across both domestic and international markets.

Mahindra & Mahindra has also announced its Year-to-Date (YTD) tractor sales figures for July 2024. The company saw an increase in domestic sales, with 142,517 units sold in 2024 compared to 136,043 units in 2023, marking a 5% growth in the domestic market.

On the other hand, Mahindra's YTD Tractor Sales Report for 2024 shows a significant 49% increase in the export market. The company achieved 6,159 units in export sales in 2024, compared to 4,141 units in 2023. This reflects a substantial rise in export performance.

Commenting on the performance, Hemant Sikka, President of the Farm Equipment Sector at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., stated, "We sold 25,587 tractors in the domestic market in July 2024, a 6% growth over last year. The South-West monsoon brought surplus rainfall to Central, Western, and Southern states, although some areas like Bihar and Punjab still have deficient rainfall. Kharif sowing has progressed well, boosting farmer sentiment. Higher crop prices and increased MSP for major kharif crops have further lifted spirits. With budget support and favorable trade terms, the festive season looks promising for the tractor industry. In the export market, we sold 1,622 tractors, a 61% growth over last year."
