Escorts Kubota Tractor Sales Report November 2024: 8,974 Tractor Sold with a Decrease of 9.4%

Faridabad, December 1, 2024: Escorts Kubota Limited’s Agri Machinery Business Division released its tractor sales for the month of November this year. The EKL sold a total of 8,974 tractors, down 9.4% compared to 9,906 in the same month last year.

8,730 tractors were sold domestically, an 8.1% decrease from the 9,503 sold in November of last year. The company claims that the change happened due to the important festive days being shifted to October this year. Despite this, Escorts Kubota had a 9% growth in domestic tractor sales from September to November, selling 38,554 units as opposed to 35,387 units the previous year.

In terms of exports, sales fell sharply. Just 244 tractors were exported in November (2024), a 39.5% decrease from the 403 sold in the same month the previous year.

Escorts reported its YoY tractor sales figure for April to November 2024. During the eight months, its total sales stood at 83,449 units, which was down 0.1% from the 83,513 units sold during the corresponding time last year.

Domestic tractor sales rose by 1.4% to 80,746 units in FY 2024 from 79,640 units in FY 2023. This is a positive trend.

Exports declined substantially. During FY 2024, exports were only 2,703 units, down 30.2% from FY 2023's export of 3,873 units.
