Domestic Tractors Sales Report Sep 2024: Sales Increased By 3.74%, 1,00,542 Units Sold

The latest report on domestic tractor sales for September 2024 shows a 3.74% increase compared to Sep 2023. In September 2024, the top companies sold 100,542 tractors, while the same time last year saw sales of 96,916 tractors.

Domestic Tractor Sales Report Sep 2024 - Brand Wise

In September 2024, M&M Group (Mahindra Tractor) sold 43,201 tractors, compared to 42,034 tractors in September 2023. This means their sales grew by 2.78%. M&M Group's market share for September 2024 was 42.97%, which is a bit lower than the 43.37% they had in the same month last year. So, their market share dropped by 0.40%.

Tafe Group, one of the leading tractor manufacturers, saw a slight decline in both sales and market share in September 2024. They sold 17,984 tractors, compared to 18,244 in September 2023, marking a 1.43% drop in sales. Their market share for September 2024 was 17.89%, down from 18.82% the previous year, a decrease of 0.94%. Despite this, TAFE continues to be a major player in the tractor industry.

Meanwhile, in September 2024, Sonalika sold 14,309 tractors, which is more than the 13,732 tractors they sold in September 2023. This shows a 4.20% increase in sales. Their market share for September 2024 was 14.23%, a small rise from the 14.17% they had the year before, with a growth of 0.06%. Sonalika continues to improve steadily in the tractor market.

Escorts Kubota, an excellent top tractor manufacturing firm, held a market share of 11.92%, slightly up from 11.69% in September 2023, showing an increase of 0.23%. They sold 11,985 tractors this year, compared to 11,334 last year, reflecting a 5.74% rise in sales.

On the other hand, another market leader, John Deere, sold 7,004 tractors, more than the 6,125 tractors they sold in September 2023. This is a big increase of 14.35% in sales. Their market share went up to 6.97% from 6.32% last year, showing an increase of 0.65%. John Deere is getting stronger in the tractor market with these good numbers.

New Holland sold 4,503 tractors, more than the 3,767 tractors sold in September 2023. This shows a strong sales growth of 19.54%. Their market share rose to 4.48%, up from 3.89% last year, an increase of 0.59%. \

The Punjab-based Preet Tractor also showed low performance. In September 2024, Preet sold 436 tractors, which is slightly more than the 427 tractors sold in September 2023. This means their sales grew by 2.11%. Their market share for September 2024 was 0.43%, a small drop from 0.44% the previous year, showing a decrease of 0.01%.

Furthermore, Indo Farm Tractor continued to have a tough season, similar to other companies. In September 2024, Indo Farm sold 341 tractors, down from 406 tractors in September 2023. This shows a 16.01% decline in sales. Their market share for September 2024 was 0.34%, down from 0.42% last year, which is a decrease of 0.08%.

ACE had a strong performance in September 2024. They sold 318 tractors, which is a big increase from the 210 tractors sold in September 2023. This shows a growth of 51.43% in sales. Their market share for September 2024 was 0.32%, up from 0.22% last year, which is an increase of 0.10%.

VST Tillers and Tractor's performance in September 2024 slightly declined. They sold 268 tractors, just below the 269 tractors sold in September 2023. This represents a decrease of 0.37% in sales. Their market share for September 2024 was 0.27%, down from 0.28% last year, showing a drop of 0.01%.

Captain also experienced a significant decline in performance in September 2024. They sold only 138 tractors, compared to 301 tractors in September 2023. This represents a large drop of 54.15% in sales. Their market share for September 2024 was 0.14%, down from 0.31% last year, reflecting a decrease of 0.17%.

Lastly, SDF sold 55 tractors, down from 67 tractors in September 2023. This is a decrease of 17.91% in sales. Their market share for September 2024 was 0.05%, lower than the 0.07% they had last year, which is a drop of 0.01%.
