Domestic Tractor Sales Report October 2023 - Sales Dropped by 3.93%, 118232 Units Sold

According to the recent report on domestic tractor sales in October 2023, there has been a decrease of 3.93% compared to the figures from October 2022. In October 2023, the leading companies within the industry sold only 118,232 units. In the preceding year, they had sold 123,070 units. Nevertheless, financial experts remain optimistic and anticipate new opportunities in the upcoming financial year.

Mahindra, a company that has been the dominant player in the tractor market for many years, experienced a drop of 2.38% in its sales for October 2023 compared to the same month last year. However, the company's market share increased by 0.66%. Regarding the number of tractors sold, Mahindra sold 49,336 tractors in October 2023, whereas in October 2022, they sold 50,539 units.

Furthermore, the report suggests that India's second-largest tractor maker, the TAFE Group, also recorded a 2.65% increase in sales. Moreover, its market share expanded by nearly 1.17%. Regarding total sales volume, TAFE sold 21,581 tractors in October 2023, while the October 2022 sale stood at 21,023 units.

According to the Domestic Tractor Sales Report for October 2023, Sonalika sold approximately 15,662 tractors in October 2023. This represents a decrease from their October 2022 sales, which were at 16,268, indicating a decline of 3.73%. Nevertheless, Sonalika's market share saw a slight improvement of 0.03%.

In October 2023, Escorts Tractors sold 12642 tractors, 8.68% less than the 13843 tractors they sold in October 2022. However, their market share also declined by 0.56%.

In October 2023, John Deere experienced a notable decrease in tractor sales, with only 10,682 units sold. This marked a significant drop from the 11,373 units sold in the same month of the previous year. The Domestic Tractor Sales Report for October 2023 indicated that John Deere's sales declined by 6.08%, and its market share saw a reduction of 0.21%.

Brands like New Holland declined, with nearly 4,568 units sold in Oct 2023. In comparison, its sales for Oct 2022 were 4,652 units. Consequently, the company's growth rate declined by 1.81%, and its market share decreased by 0.08%.

Kubota, a prominent tractor manufacturer based in Japan, faced a substantial sales drop of 35.61% as they managed to sell 1908 units in October 2023. This figure represented a significant decrease from the 2963 units sold during the same month in 2022. Interestingly, even with this decline, the company increased its market share by 0.79%.

The Preet Tractor company, based in Punjab, experienced a significant drop in sales. According to the Domestic Tractor Sales Report for Oct 2023, they sold 518 tractors during that month. This is a decrease of 18.68% compared to October 2022, when they sold 637 tractors. The company's market share also decreased by about 0.08%.

Indo Farm Tractor had a challenging year, just like other companies. In October 2023, they only sold 453 tractors, whereas last year, they sold 602, resulting in a sales drop of about 24.75%. Additionally, their market share decreased by nearly 0.11%.

The report indicates that Captain Tractor sold 301 units in October 2023, which is identical to their sales in October 2022. This indicates that Captain Tractor's sales have remained constant. Moreover, their market share stood at 0.01%.

However, ACE Tractors experienced a drop in sales, around 17.92%, and its market share decreased by about 0.04%.

In October 2023, VST Tillers and Tractors Ltd. experienced a notable decline in sales, with only 235 units sold. This marked a substantial drop compared to the 436 units they sold in October 2022. The decrease in sales amounted to a significant 46.10% reduction, which also resulted in a decrease in their market share by 0.16%.

During October 2023, SDF Tractors achieved sales of 85 units, indicating a 26.09% decrease compared to the 115 units sold in the preceding year. Furthermore, the company experienced a slight decline in its market share, amounting to nearly 0.02%.
