Domestic tractor sales in India, the world’s largest market, recorded a jump of 1.19%, with 82920 tractors sold in May 2023. The sales growth has been in a low single-digit in the new fiscal year. However, analysts are optimistic that the upcoming months will see a rise in agri-tech sales.
Domestic tractor sales report, 2023 for May, shows that India’s largest tractor manufacturer, Mahindra & Mahindra, sold 33113 units. Compared to May 2022, the brand saw a decline in sales by 3.05%. The brand’s market share also declined by nearly 1.75%.
TAFE domestic tractor sales for May 2023 stood at 16551 units, with a hike of 3.92% compared to the last May of 2022. TAFE’s market share observed a growth of 0.52%.
Moving ahead with other brands. Sonalika sold 10577 units in May 2023, which is an 11.42% hike compared to last May. Its market share also increased by 1.17%.
Domestic sales data shows that Escorts tractor sales rose by 13.53% with 8704 units sold. The brand’s market share also plunged by 1.14%.
American tractor giant John Deere’s domestic tractor sales in May 2023 declined by 7.95%, with 6591 units sold. The brand lost its market share by 0.79% compared to May 2022 data.
New Holland saw a remarkable growth of roughly 10.15%, with overall sales of 3146 tractors. The brand also recorded an increase in the market share by 0.31%.
Japan-based Kubota tractor domestic sales declined by 12.43%, with only 1705 units sold in May 2023. Domestic sales data suggests that the brand also lost its market share by 0.32%.
Indo Farm domestic tractor sales in India saw a growth of 0.87%, with 582 units sold in May 2023. The brand’s market share remained stagnant with no change.
Preet’s domestic tractor sales 2023 for May increased by 3.40% with an overall sale of 578 units. The brand’s market share increased by only 0.01%.
Domestic tractor sales report 2023 shows that VST sold only 325 units in May 2023, with a huge decline of 36.40%. The brand also lost its market share by 0.23%.
Domestic tractor sales data suggests that Force company sold 280 tractors in May 2023, with a decline in sales by 13.31%. The brand also saw a decline in market share by 0.06%.
Captain tractors sold 477 units in May 2023, an increase of 3.02% compared to May 2022. The brand also recorded a growth in market share by nearly 0.01%.
ACE sold around 234 tractors in May 2023, which is a 5.88% rise in sales compared to last year’s May data. Its market share also increased by 0.01%.
SDF domestic tractor sales declined by 32.94%, with only 57 units sold. The brand also recorded a dip in market share by 0.03%.
