Domestic Tractor Sales Report Feb 2023 - Sales Increased by 20.9%

The domestic tractor sales report for February 2023 was recently released, showing a growth of 20.09%. For Feb 2023, all leading tractors' domestic sales units were 62367 units, as against 51932 units in Feb 2022. Here, let’s review the leading tractor OEM's sales performance for Feb 2023.

Domestic Tractor Sales Data - February 2023

Mahindra Tractors domestic tractor sales for Feb 2023 were 24.619 units as against 18,910 units in Feb 2022, showing a growth of 30.19%

Hemant Sikka, President of Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., expressed that —-

“We have sold 24,619 tractors in the domestic market during February 2023, a growth of 30% over last year. Record Rabi crop acreage for wheat and oilseeds, high crop prices and better terms of trade for farmers are leading to positive sentiments in the rural markets. Expected higher Rabi output will improve liquidity in the hands of the farmers, supporting tractor demand. Water reservoir levels continue to remain high. In the export market, we have sold 1172 tractors.” 

Tafe group’s domestic tractor sales were 11233 units in Feb 2023, as against 9124 units in Feb 2022, showing a growth of 23.11%.

Escorts domestic tractor sales were 7245 units in Feb 2023 as against 5686 units in Feb 2022, showing a growth of 27.42%.

Sonalika domestic tractor sales were 6994 units in Feb 2023, as against 6505 units in Feb 2022, showing a growth of 7.52%.

John Deere domestic tractor sales were 5761 units in Feb 2023, as against 5427 units in Feb 2022, showing a growth of 6.15%.

New Holland domestic tractor sales were 2556 units in Feb 2023 as against 2384 units in Feb 2022, showing a growth of 7.21%

Kubota domestic tractor sales were 1753 units in Feb 2023 against 1609 units in Feb 2022, showing a growth of 8.95%.

Preet domestic tractor sales were 540 units in Feb 2023 against 556 units in Feb 2022, showing a decline of 2.88%.

Indo Farm domestic tractor sales were 472 units in Feb 2023 against 606 units in Feb 2022, showing a decline of 22.11%.

VST domestic tractor sales were 331 units in Feb 2023 against 291 units in Feb 2022, showing a growth of 13.75%.

Force domestic tractor sales were 292 units in Feb 2023 against 335 units in Feb 2023, showing a decline of 12.84%.

Captain domestic tractor sales were 290 units in Feb 2023 against 161 units in Feb 2022, showing a growth of 80.12%.

ACE domestic tractor sales were 225 units in Feb 2023 against  233 units in Feb 2022, showing a decline of 3.43%.

SDF domestic tractor sales were 56 units in Feb 2023 against 105 units in Feb 2022, showing a decline of 46.67%.
