The “ITALIAN TECH in INDIA” exhibition stood as proof of the cooperation between Italy and India in the sector of manufacturing. Moreover, this association will prove fruitful for increasing awareness and support the market penetration of advanced manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and AI in India.
The IICCI - Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, The Embassy of Italy in New Delhi, and the Consulate General of Italy in Mumbai presented the “ITALIAN TECH in INDIA” exhibition. The exhibition displayed a selection of Italian technologies and innovations made in India across 4 sectors, including:
The exhibition aimed to foster greater cooperation between Italy and India in the manufacturing sector. It offered a unique opportunity for Italian companies and European stakeholders to demonstrate their capabilities. Moreover, it brought Indian companies an opportunity to explore potential collaborations and partnerships.
The next step is to work with various European stakeholders to increase awareness and support the market entry of advanced manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and Artificial Intelligence in India.
The event took place at two venues:
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation - Antonio Tajani, India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry - Piyush Goyal, The Italian Ambassador in India - Vincenzo de Luca, IICCI President - Amit Roy and CEO and Secretary General of IICCI - Claudio Maffioletti inaugurated the event in New Delhi. Consul General of Italy in Mumbai - Alessandro De Masi, Joint Director, Industries - Government of Maharashtra - Sadashiv Survase, Head of Treasury, Markets and Sales, AXIS Bank - Brejesh Chalill, IICCI President - Amit Roy and CEO and Secretary General of IICCI - Claudio Maffioletti inaugurated the event in Pune.
The exhibition had 17 exhibiting Italian companies: Bauli India Bakes & Sweets, Bettinelli, Biesse Manufacturing, Bonfiglioli Transmissions, Brembo, Coesia India, Enel Green Power India, FAAC India, Fontana Gruppo, Maccaferri Environmental Solutions, Maire Tecnimont, Mapei Construction Products India, Marelli (India), Marposs India, MGM Varvel, Piaggio Vehicles, Same Deutz-Fahr India. Nine other Italian companies participated: Bellissimo - Panariagroup India Industrie Ceramiche , Carraro, Danieli India, Ferrero, Green Gear Trasmissioni, Guala Closures India, Italferr, OMR Bagla Automotive Systems India, Saleri India.
